Turmeric if consumed by itself, does not get readily absorbed by the body and hence does not benefit our health significantly. TURMERIC SPICED AFFOGATO



 

A blissful Italian offering, Affogatos are essentially the luscious combination of a classic gelato drowning in a shot of piping hot espresso! Perfect for those moments of sugar cravings, our in-house chef has devised a healthy golden spiced version of the classic affogato using our delectable Turmeric Latte mix!

 

Total Time : 15 Minutes

 

Serves : 1 (250ml)

 

Ingredients

  • Vegan vanilla ice cream - 1 Scoop

  • Almond / Nut / Coconut Milk : 60 ml or 1/4th cup

  • VAHDAM’s Turmeric Latte Mix : 2 grams

  • Sliced almonds - For garnish 

  • Dried rose petals - For garnish

  • Crushed cardamom - A pinch 

  • Saffron - A pinch

Recipe

  • Combine all the individual ingredients in a large bowl. 

  • Stir well and then beat the mixture vigorously. 

  • Pour mixture into a small, lined baking dish.

  • Set the baking dish in the fridge for an hour. 

  • Cut into slices and enjoy immediately.

 

TURMERIC FUDGE

 

A time and tradition honored sweet delicacy, the fudge is a delightful mix of milk, butter, and sugar whipped to a creamy and caramelized delight. We decided to give the traditional fudge a healthy up-vote and made some delicious Turmeric fudge using our Turmeric Classic Latte mix! Here we go! 



Total Time : 10 Minutes
Serves : 10 fudge pieces

Ingredients

  • Sesame seeds Tahini - 1/4th cup or ( 60ml )

  • Almond Butter - 1/4th cup ( 60ml )

  • Coconut Milk : 1 cup (200ml)
  • Cinnamon powder - 2 grams (1 Tsp.)

  • Ground Oats - 1/4th cup 

  • Honey :  1/4th cup (60ml) or as per preferred sweetness.

  • VAHDAM’S Turmeric Classic Latte Mix : 4 grams (2 Tsps.)

  • Vanilla Extract : 1 Tsp.

 

Recipe

  1. Combine all the individual ingredients in a large bowl. 

  2. Stir well and then beat the mixture vigorously. 

  3. Pour mixture into a small, lined baking dish.

  4. Set the baking dish in the fridge for an hour. 

  5. Cut into slices and enjoy immediately.

 

 

TURMERIC SMOOTHIE

 

Who doesn’t like smoothies?! One simply needs to toss in their favorite fruits in with some yoghurt, honey and voila! You have a wholesome and filling liquid brekkie to start the day with.If you wish to nourish yourself with the superfood powers of this golden spice and strengthen your health, we welcome you to try this luscious Turmeric smoothie with us! 

 

Total Time : 10 Minutes
Serves : 1 (250ml)

Ingredients

  • Frozen mango - 1 (Sliced)

  • Frozen bananas - 2 (Sliced)

  • Honey - 1-2 Tsps. (As per your preferred sweetness)

  • Probiotic Yogurt - 1 Cup

  • VAHDAM’s Turmeric Classic Latte mix : 2 grams ( 1Tsp.)

  • Blueberries : 3-4 berries for garnish

  • Kiwis : 2-3 slices for garnish

 

Recipe

  1. Blend the sliced mango, bananas, yogurt, latte mix, and honey in a blender.

  2. Pour the smoothie in a chilled glass. 

  3. Garnish with blueberries and kiwi slices! Enjoy!

 


TURMERIC GLAZED DONUTS




Donuts can truly turn around a sour mood or uplift one’s mood! Now some love a glazed one, some prefer a creme-filled, and there are some savory one! But why not make this sugar treat into a healthy one as well? Try out these Turmeric glazed donuts for a heavenly bite of great flavors and good health. 

 

Total Time : 10 Minutes
Serves : 2 donuts


Ingredients for the Glaze

  • Fresh Orange Juice - 2 Tablespoons (14ml)

  • Milk of your choice - 2 Tablespoons (14ml)

  • Freshly baked Plain Donuts - 4

  • VAHDAM’s Turmeric Classic Latte Mix -  2 Teaspoons (4 grams)

  • Powdered Sugar - 1 cup

  • Sliced Almonds - for garnish

  • Dried Rose petals - for garnish

 

Recipe

  1. Whisk together the orange juice, milk, turmeric latte mix and the powdered sugar in a large bowl.

  2. Coat the donuts with the glaze. You can also drizzle it.

  3. Garnish with dried rose petals and sliced almonds.

  4. Keep in the fridge for 15 minutes to set the glaze! Enjoy!

 


TURMERIC ASHWAGANDHA MOON MILK

 

We love our Turmeric Ashwagandha Latte mix for its sweet & savory taste and its stress-relieving properties! An ancient Ayurvedic supermix, this latte is a perfecr way to unwind after a whirlwind of a day. Unlock the many benefits of superfoods - Turmeric and Ashwagandha with a delectable cup of this rich and nutritious latte.

 

Total Time : 8 Minutes
Serves : 1

 

Ingredients

  • Plant-based Milk - 200 ml

  • VAHDAM’s Turmeric Ashwagandha Latte Mix : 1 Teaspoon (2 grams)

  • Sliced Almonds : for garnish

  • Rose Petals : for garnish

 

Recipe

  1. Start heating 200ml of your chosen vegan milk in a saucepan.

  2. Add 1 Tsp. of the Turmeric Ashwagandha Latte mix to the milk.

  3. Stir well till the mix dissolves. 

  4. Let it cool. Pour the latte into a cup

  5. Garnish with sliced almonds and rose petals! Enjoy warm!
