Which harvest teas do you use in your blends?
All our premium blends are made of a variety of garden-fresh, superior quality teas sourced from their native region. We procure all our teas in their respective prime-harvest seasons, which differ according to the tea type, place of origin, season etc. Procuring these teas during their prime harvest periods means that we get the best quality teas which have an enhanced flavor, character, and freshness.
Where do you source your teas from?
We source our teas from over 150 renowned tea plantations and small individual farms in India. Within the country, we procure from 5 popular tea-producing regions, namely : Darjeeling, Assam, Nilgiri, Kangra, and Sikkim.
How are your teas packed?
After sourcing our teas directly from plantations within hours of harvest, we bring them to our state-of-the-art tea facility in New Delhi, India. The teas then go through rigorous rounds of cleaning, sorting, quality testing to remove any impurities/dust/foreign particles. Teas then pass through a final 10+ quality check points for leaf size, aroma, liquor, flavors etc. They are then vacuum-packaged in opaque aluminium-lined bags using sophisticated machinery. These vacuum-bags are then stored in a dehumidified, temperatuere-controlled warehouse which ensures that the teas remain garden-fresh and maintain their character. Upon recieving a consumer's order, we further pack the required quantity of tea in smaller vacuum-sealed packs which are boxed in the retail boxes and then sent over to our own delivery centres located in various parts of the world.

I love this tea! I am new to loose leaf tea, and after trying this tea, I will will never go back to tea bags again. It has a wonderful flavor and beautiful color.
Good straightforward tea. My first order of this brand was the product in teabags. Very good. This review is for the loose leaf tea. The pick date and expiration date are on the bag. Picked 12 months ago. Expires in 12 months. So this order is right between the pick date and the expiration date. This tea is a good choice at an economical price.Of importance, the bag reseals very well.
A good basic cup for everyday. Mellow, medium body, nice flavor, very fresh. Not as rich or full flavored as an Exotic Assam or Himalayan Breakfast (my current favorite), but quite nice for a less expensive blend that can keep the kettle flowing throughout the day.
Updating my review:the company very generously and very quickly sent me a new bag of tea and apologised for sending the wrong harvest. My second bag was from the 2017 harvest. The quality is a vast improvement over the previous packet I received. It is a perfectly adequate tea. The flavour, when properly brewed, is nicely rounded. It has sufficient tannin but is not too bitter. Personally I prefer a stronger flavoured tea, but I am a strong tea junkie. I like the teaspoon to stand up in the cup. And I drink my tea with milk.Do not bother, This tea is tasteless. I drink a lot of tea. All of it loose leaf. After more than 40 years of tea drinking I feel I can trust my taste on this matter. When I opened the packet I took a deep sniff. No smell, of tea. Just a faint dried grass aroma. Not a good sign. However I brewed a pot to check. Yep. Bland as bland can be. If I could return it I would Luckily I bought it on special and didn't pay the full price. Also the image says "2017 harvest". When I checked the bag it said "packed August 2016". So a lie, basically.
This was the most amazing tea. In fifty years of buying and drinking tea I have never had such a delightful experience. This company is absolutely the best EVER. The tea is so fresh, amazing aroma and incredible taste. It is nice to find that excellence still exists.
