Grade Tea leaf grading is the process of evaluating products based on the quality and condition of the tea leaves. The highest grades are referred to as "orange pekoe" i.e SFTGFOP1, FTGFOP1, and the lowest as "fannings" or "dust".

How to Brew a Perfect Cup

Brewing Instructions

Heat 200ml of fresh water to 80-90 degrees Celsius.
Switch off the heat and add in 2 grams loose leaf tea.
Let it steep for 4-5 mins.
Remove tea filter, pour, and enjoy.

What is Oolong Tea?

Oolong Tea is partially oxidized teas which are hand-rolled into thin strands. The level of oxidation for Oolong teas falls somewhere between the oxidation levels of black and green tea. The artisanal rolling technique of Oolong teas is the main factor which plays around with the appearance, color of the liquor, and the uplifting aroma, resulting in various Oolong varieties. How many cups of Oolong tea is recommended?

For best results, we recommend drinking two cups of Oolong tea daily; one cup in the morning coupled with a balanced breakfast ; and another cup in the afternoon along with a healthy lunch. Remember, a cup of Oolong tea contains about half as much caffeine as a cup of green tea, and far less than that found in a regular cup of coffee. Hence, a cup of Oolong tea gives you a small dose of caffeine for mental alertness but without the unwanted jitters.
Where do you source your teas from?

We source our teas from over 150 renowned tea plantations and small individual farms in India. Within the country, we procure from 5 popular tea-producing regions, namely : Darjeeling, Assam, Nilgiri, Kangra, and Sikkim.
How are your teas packed?

After sourcing our teas directly from plantations within hours of harvest, we bring them to our state-of-the-art tea facility in New Delhi, India. The teas then go through rigorous rounds of cleaning, sorting, quality testing to remove any impurities/dust/foreign particles. Teas then pass through a final 10+ quality check points for leaf size, aroma, liquor, flavors etc. They are then vacuum-packaged in opaque aluminium-lined bags using sophisticated machinery. These vacuum-bags are then stored in a dehumidified, temperatuere-controlled warehouse which ensures that the teas remain garden-fresh and maintain their character. Upon recieving a consumer's order, we further pack the required quantity of tea in smaller vacuum-sealed packs which are boxed in the retail boxes and then sent over to our own delivery centres located in various parts of the world.

I love this tea!! It's light and fragrant and delicious!! Bought a small amount but will definitely buy more. One of my favorite teas so far.

I drink this tea ( Oolong ) two times a day, sometimes three, its flavor is delicate but depends how long you keep it on the water. I was reading that it is good for losing weight. I think loose teas are the best option, the packing is impeccable, the tea comes in a completely sealed bag and then you can transfer it to another bag. When I opened the sealed bag I like to smell a nice scent.

Darjeeling oolong is new to me and I found this variety very satisfactory. The flavor is more delicate than the usual black darjeeling but it has that characteristic darjeeling aroma and taste. It is also very good mixed half and half with the black.i will be trying other teas from this vendor.
