How are your teas packed?
After sourcing our teas directly from plantations within hours of harvest, we bring them to our state-of-the-art tea facility in New Delhi, India. The teas then go through rigorous rounds of cleaning, sorting, quality testing to remove any impurities/dust/foreign particles. Teas then pass through a final 10+ quality check points for leaf size, aroma, liquor, flavors etc. They are then vacuum-packaged in opaque aluminium-lined bags using sophisticated machinery. These vacuum-bags are then stored in a dehumidified, temperature-controlled warehouse which ensures that the teas remain garden-fresh and maintain their character. Upon receiving a consumer's order, we further pack the required quantity of tea in smaller vacuum-sealed packs which are boxed in the retail boxes and then sent over to our own delivery centers located in various parts of the world.
Don't know what else I can say. I discovered this Vadham Blue Mountain after trying one of their Green Tea Samplers. I was using one of the Himalayan teas which I really liked. However, after a side by side I decided to go with the Blue Mountain, even though the price is a good bit higher per cup. I will describe one criticism: the instructions recommend one teaspoon for a 6 oz cup. The texture of the dried leaves is such that the do not collect effectively in a teaspoon and therefore, you cannot get the recommended 2 grams dry weight. Obviously, the easy fix I came up with was to weigh it each time. It actually is taking over 2 tsp to get to that weight. This doesn't diminish my 5-star rating. Just letting everyone know that you may want to weigh your blue mountain and make sure your spoon collects the desired amount.
great tea. i'm a big fan
It’s ok tea. I have tried many green teas and this one does not have green tea aroma as it should.
Very good green tea ??????? very nice cup Thank you
I don’t agree with any of the previous review. This tea tastes terrible. No matter what quantity (little or more) I brew, the tast of this green tea is verity bitter and terrible. I can’t return it since I have opened it, spent so much money and I can’t use. Do not recommend it. Unless you like a strong strong bitter taste, go for it.
