Castleton Imperial Darjeeling First Flush Black Tea

Castleton Imperial Darjeeling First Flush Black Tea

A superior black tea and most definitely one of our finest offering from 2016 harvest of the prized Darjeeling first flush.
Hand plucked just before sunrise from premium AV2 clonal bushes at the iconic Castleton tea estate, facing the snow-laden mighty Kanchenjunga peak, this tea glorifies all prime characters uniquely found in spring teas from Darjeeling.
The delicately manufactured leaves are soft and velvety with silver tips glazing the appearance along with handsome light green leaf shades. The liquor is magnificent golden with a sweet floral perfume. The flavour is deliciously smooth with rich notes of spring flowers like lily, magnolia and honeysuckle. Discover complex notes of sweet mango & peaches as the tea develops on your palate after a few rolls. The second steep is as wonderful and mellow. The long lingering finish is sensational. Harvested during the prime few days of harvest in early April, this is Darjeeling like none other.
