Exotic Assam Green Tea

Exotic Assam Green Tea

A delectable green tea from the Assam region in India, these dark green leaves emanate an intense green aroma. The brew has a clean start and finish with a lingering taste of cooked chickpeas, sweet corn, steamed vegetables and vegetable broth at its heart along with a bitter aftertaste. With a moderate level of caffeine, we suggest at least three steeps to savour this robust tea with at least cup taken in the evening.
The tea lacks the distinct edginess of other cups from the region and stands apart with an umami texture which elevates the experience.
This tea best complemented with hummus and pita bread, grilled meat preparations, Indian snacks and even hard cheese.
