How are your teas packed?
After sourcing our teas directly from plantations within hours of harvest, we bring them to our state-of-the-art tea facility in New Delhi, India. The teas then go through rigorous rounds of cleaning, sorting, quality testing to remove any impurities/dust/foreign particles. Teas then pass through a final 10+ quality check points for leaf size, aroma, liquor, flavors etc. They are then vacuum-packaged in opaque aluminium-lined bags using sophisticated machinery. These vacuum-bags are then stored in a dehumidified, temperature-controlled warehouse which ensures that the teas remain garden-fresh and maintain their character. Upon receiving a consumer's order, we further pack the required quantity of tea in smaller vacuum-sealed packs which are boxed in the retail boxes and then sent over to our own delivery centers located in various parts of the world.
Oh so good, and packaged so nicely. All tea should come this way.
Love this tea (mint melody). I???m on my second bag. Mix it with lemonade flavor drops for water, add a touch of honey and you have a tea that rivals citrus defender from Starbucks. Great for sore throat and respiratory congestion or just a good cup of tea before bedtime.
All of the other reviews are right - these people are serious about their tea. You won't ever get a better packaged tea than this. The tea itself is very good. I got the mint and it is a medley of spearmint and peppermint. It has a flavor I would consider more earthy than like an after dinner mint. It's not a sissy tea. I liked it and, considering the packaging, would definitely use it as a gift.
And maybe made it incorrectly, but it's so good. Definitely will be buying more in the future. Seriously, so good
A pretty good tea. I???m no expert, but I noticed the difference in the first sip. However, there is an issue with common sense... the zip bag is simply too small! When transferring the tea into the zip bag after opening the vacuum pack(the mouth of the bag was slightly small too) I discovered that even after tapping the bag to settle the leaves down so I could fit more in the bag, only 3/4 or so of the tea went in, the rest having to be clipped shut in the vacuum bag adding unnecessary clutter. It would be nice if someone in the company would try opening one of their teas and tried pouring the tea into the little bag.
