Samal Valley Nepal First Flush Black Tea

Samal Valley Nepal First Flush Black Tea

A premium Nepal black tea from the Samal valley plantations in Nepal. Strikingly similar to a classic first flush Darjeeling, the tea leaves display delightful shades of green and make for a bright golden liquoring cup of tea. The aroma is floral with a smooth flavor suggesting notes of cooked vegetables and coriander. The flavor moves towards an exquisite astringent finish on the palate. An excellent tea at a great price.

Samal Valley Tea Estate The Samal Valley tea estate, located in the ILAM district of Nepal, geographically adjacent to Darjeeling district in north-east India is only divided by the international borders of the two countries. However, this has hardly hindered mother nature from blessing this region with the same quality and tenderness of Darjeeling Teas. The Himalayan teas grown in this region have typical fresh floral and mild grassy fragrance with an elegant finish.
