The tea is great: a really delicious blend. The packaging is ... odd. You get a brick (actually, two) of vacuum-packed tea; you then place the brick in a zipper bag, and I suppose it expands, eventually. But if you want some tea asap (and I use it to make iced tea), you need to whack the brick a few times to loosen it up, which is inelegant at best and a mess at worse.Still, a yummy tea and worth the effort.
One of the most refreshing iced teas I have ever brewed!
We haven't come across a single tea that we didn't love. And they ship to us in the United States all the way from India in just 2 or 3 days. I love tracking the package.
Of the teas that I ordered recently, our favorite so far has been the Lopchu Golden Orange Pekoe Darjeeling Second Flush.
Also, with one of our orders during the summer, we got some free samples of some of their iced teas. My kids tried each and every one and decided their favorite was the peach green apple. I ordered some for them, and they absolutely love it. The only thing is, when you open the bag, it's all stuck together, probably from the dried fruit that's a little sticky. My daughter tried splitting it up with a fork, but I found it easier to break it apart with my fingers.
It's always a pleasure ordering and receiving teas from Vahdam. We're nighttime tea-drinkers. Vahdam teas are the perfect way for us to end the day. :)
OMG! This makes delicious iced tea!
